When I want to get pregnant, get tons of conflicting advice about what you need and don’t need to do that. Specialists in fertility and women’s health tell us what is true and what is fiction.
1. No “exercise for fertility”
It is important to choose the ones that suit you personally. They should be enjoyable and fit into your life. And do not need to follow the advice often and to train more in order to health problems.
2. Proper nutrition is…
Useful to follow the lax Mediterranean diet: seasonal vegetables, oily fish, not much meat and a lot of cold-pressed oil.
3. And wrong…
Too much sugar, fast food, juices and other similar products. No need to completely eliminate meat, too closely to count calories, overeating and undernourished.
4. Limit caffeine and alcohol
Studies show that they affect the ability to conceive, especially after 35 years. Really did not need to: the body will be more stress at failure from the coffee than when you limit to 1-2 cups per day.
5. Other factors
In General, should keep health: not Smoking, recycle, relax, worry less and have lots of good sex.
6. Applications for the ovulation, not too useful
Rather, they have meaning, if the cycle is unstable and this is really important. But don’t reduce sex to a couple times a month around the expected date of ovulation. Simple math: less sex — less pregnancies.
7. Year for conception — rate
This is the average for couples aged about 30 years. And that in itself does not imply the existence of some problems!
