In February 2017 in Russia started the experiment for the labelling of medicines, which allows to trace the path of the drug from pharmaceutical factory to the pharmacy. Each pack of drugs must now contain a unique digital code DataMatrix with information about the manufacturer and the product. All the data about the movement of goods are recorded in a single information system. At the end of last year CRPT started in Russia the program of localization of production of equipment for the labeling of drugs at the site of concern Automation of rostec state Corporation, as existing in the domestic market of solutions for marking and traceability was not enough to meet the needs of manufacturers, importers and distributors.
