Ingredients:

red currant – 1 kg
sugar – 1 kg
water – 1 tbsp
How to cook:

Wash the currants and separate the berries from the twigs.
Put the berries in a large pot, pour water and boil until boiling.
Take off the pan from the heat, let currants cool and then grind it through a sieve to jam or particles of skin and bone.
Add to a bowl of mashed red currants with the sugar and boil on low heat for about 30 minutes, stirring constantly and removing the foam.
